I honestly have nothing but great things to say about this practice! I underwent a chin augmentation, courtesy of Dr. Waldman, as I was self conscious of my “receding” or “weak” chin. It was a great experience! I am over the moon with the results!! The facility was awesome, all the staff were so helpful, and made me feel like I was in truly great hands. Special thanks to Paula – who made me feel comfortable about going through the procedure by covering every detail, Madison – for going above and beyond the procedure itself, Keri – who was was so great during my OR experience, and of course Dr. Waldman, who brought my dream to life!! 10/10 would recommend!!
I just want to say thank you to you all for the consultation today. Dr Schantz was very warm and caring. While I’m totally embarrassed by my body, he and his assistant made me feel good about myself and I’m not sure I’ve felt that way in a long time. Their attention to detail and confirmation/support of a tummy tuck/mommy makeover was exactly what I was looking for and appreciated beyond belief. I am honestly grateful for the experience today. I am very satisfied with my experience with Waldman Schantz Plastic Surgery Center. I had skin cancer surgery and required surgery to repair my nose. I was referred to a different surgeon with UK and after he “jerked me around” for 3 weeks I was referred to Dr. Brad Turner. He saw me on Tues and did my surgery on Wed. I am very pleased with the results and would definitely refer friends and family to Waldman Schantz. The office staff are very friendly and helpful and the experience is NOT like being in a Doctors office.

I am very happy with my results! Dr. Schantz has made my dreams come true. I was so down on myself about my body after three children and putting myself on the back burner. I started teaching Zumba a year ago and still couldn’t get rid of the extra abdominal fat. Everything I tried wouldn’t work. I had been wanting to have abdominoplasty and Breast augmentation for sometime. I am so glad I made the decision to have it done. my clothes fit great and I’ve thrown all those spanks/kamoras/girdles out. I recommend anyone wanting to have this procedure done to go for it. It Was the best decision I’ve ever made. Dr Schantz has also done the abdominoplasty on three other friends of mine and they look awesome.
I would highly recommend Dr Waldman. I am exceptionally pleased with the results of my face lift and have virtually no visible scars. The care he and his staff take with their patients is outstanding!
From the first time I walked through the door for my consult through all of my post op appointments I felt comfortable coming here. Dr Turner was amazing! He spent a lot of time in the consult getting to know me so that he could give me the best care. Every time I came in after that consult he knew who I was, didn’t have to look at a chart or paper to know who I was, it was very personalized care. After meeting Dr Turner and interacting with the rest of the staff there was now doubt I wanted to have him do my breast augmentation. He understood my reasoning and how I felt, gave me his honest opinions on what would work for me and I put my complete trust in him. I gave him a general idea of what I wanted and knew he would make it happen (just that comfortable with him) and he did, I am more than pleased with my results and would recommend him to anyone!
I have used Dr Schantz for 2 procedures and could not be happier. I refer all of my friends to him and would never consider going to anyone else! Always a great experience from start to finish!!

During my whole experience I never felt uneducated about any step of the way. Of course with any surgery, I was nervous. The staff made me feel completely comfortable and all of my apprehension was gone. My post-op care has been amazing. A couple of months ago, I realized that I needed to have lip surgery. Since this involved cutting out part of the area above my upper lip, I was extremely motivated to find the best plastic surgeon in the country. So, I began searching the internet for all the information I could possibly find and figure out where I needed to go to have it done. (When somebody is going to make incisions on your face, you REALLY need to make sure that they know what they are doing!) From the first moment I began researching plastic surgeons, I noticed that Dr. Waldman’s achievements were amazing. I couldn’t believe that someone with his global reputation actually lives right here in Kentucky. Whew! I’m so glad I didn’t have to travel to Maryland! (If you’ve read anything about the lip lift procedure at all, then you know what I’m talking about.) Dr. Waldman is absolutely the best there is! He is very honest in giving the pros and cons of the procedure. He spends most of his consultation time teaching, rather than marketing his skills. In fact, he is EXTREMELY proactive when it comes to patient education. For this reason, I will never even consider going to anyone else. I want to know everything I possibly can about every option available. At the same time, his surgical abilities are unsurpassed. He is an expert in the latest procedures and advances in surgery. However, his zeal for learning is balanced by his many years of experience and the wisdom he has gained as a life-long learner and achiever in the field of plastic surgery. Along the same lines, he has the most wonderful staff, ever! From the first moment you walk in the door, you will realize you are in the right place. Paula, his primary assistant, is an angel! She knows just about everything, and will patiently answer every single question you might have. But, she doesn’t sugar-coat anything, so you know you can count on her for complete honesty from a woman’s perspective. In my experience, this type of honest and compassionate feedback is a priceless treasure! In the end, it all boils down to one thing. You have only one face, and you don’t want to put the care of it in the wrong hands. I will always be thankful that I found Dr. Waldman!
I have been wanting a rhinoplasty to remove the hump on the bridge of my nose for years. I picked Dr. Waldman because he specializes in facial plastics and is amazing at noses. I can’t say enough how amazing my whole experience was! He has great bed side manner, is extremely detail oriented (very important when picking someone to do your nose!), and very intelligent. He took the time to sit down and really listen to what I wanted and also made suggestions based on his expertise, and together made a detailed plan of the changes to be made. His assistant Paula is such a sweet heart and was very helpful throughout the process as well! Everyone I met at his office was very kind and welcoming and very professional. The building itself and Surgical Center are so nice you will feel like you’re at a spa! As for my results—it’s only been 2 weeks since my surgery and I am already in LOVE with my results!!! My nose is exactly how I always imagined in my head how I wanted it to look. He did a beautiful job!! If you want the BEST overall experience and surgeon, I would highly recommend Dr. Waldman!

I had a rhinoplasty with doctor Waldman. My result was AMAZING and exactly what I wanted. The staff was amazing and pain minimal. I would have this procedure 10 times again! I had my nose narrowed and the tip elevated. It looks very natural and no one has ever suspected that I had a rhinoplasty.
Dear Dr. Schantz, It is rare to find a physician that possesses such surgical expertise and offers thorough, compassionate, and professional post-op care. My breast reduction surgery was a very life-affirming, life-changing procedure, and I wish I had done it years earlier! I’m sure such a high level of medical care is part of the reason. From the moment I arrived for my first consultation I felt right at home! The staff were incredibly helpful and intelligent. Every question and concern I had was answered with ease. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Dr. Waldman is an incredible surgeon. I have always wanted to get a rhinoplasty after I broke my nose twice as a teenager and after leaving New York City, I can honestly say that fate brought me here to Lexington to find Dr. Waldman. I have had other consultations with other doctors but his staff, expertise and self-confidence as a surgeon made me believe that he was the doctor that could exceed my expectations. And he did!!! His staff is remarkable. Not only are they friendly and professional but they are also honest and knowledgable. They tell you all the information you need to know so you don’t feel as though they are selling a pitch to you. From start to finish this was such a smooth process and my future could not have been put in better hands. Dr. Waldman is the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon you want to have. He is a diamond in the rough! My nose is bump-free, straight and I can breathe! My friends and family members are amazed of my new enhancement but they have also said that it looks so natural, which is what I am happiest about. Hidden Gem of the Midwest. Excellent Doctor! This review is long overdue. After a horrific experience with a “renowned” doctor, Dr. Waldman helped fix some of the damage to my face, and I left his office feeling better about myself than I had in half year. Not only did he know more than this so called “expert,” but Dr. Waldman is a genuinely compassionate person, as well as an honest and ethical practitioner who is more interested in helping his patients achieve their best cosmetic outcome than in padding his own wallet. He’s highly skilled with injections and performed them himself rather than delegating the task to a nurse. I thought I would need 5 or more syringes after what the other doctor did to my face, but was surprised what a major improvement several syringes made. I would highly recommend Dr. Waldman to anyone in the Midwest and beyond! Dr. Waldman is highly knowledgeable, but he’s also a really kind hearted person. He spent around an hour with me during the first visit and patiently listened. A doctor’s time is precious, but rather than push me off to a nurse, he worked with me himself, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. One thing that impressed me is that Dr. Waldman looked over the set of pictures his assistant took BEFORE even entering the room or asking what brought me in. He said he does this to figure out what actually might need fixing, rather than performing unnecessary surgeries. I wish to God I had seen Dr. Waldman instead of traveling out of state. I’d be twice as beautiful and have none of the heartache.

I have had Botox around my eyes and eyebrow by Dr. Waldman since 2009. I live in Ashland and will drive to Lexington forever to see him and his office staff (Paula) is awesome, I just will not trust anyone else and I plan on having other minor procedures done and I definitely want Dr. Waldman to do them. Just had a simple procedure done here this week. Got a new cosmetic set from the skincare office that seems to be reducing some redness on my face! I plan to have a surgery done in the future. Dr. Schantz, how do I begin? First I guess with wishing you and your beautiful family all the blessings at Christmas. This will be the first Christmas in my adult life that I will not shy away from the cameras, or only want my picture taken from the waist up. I simply detested myself at times before, I had a love-hate relationship within myself. Not a fun place to be. With the help of God, Dr. Schantz – you have changed my life in the most remarkable way! In the hurried season, and your busy day to day schedule, I’m sure it’s easy for you to forget just how much of a difference you make. BUT I will NEVER forget! When I walk by mirrors now I literally at times take a second glance. It almost doesn’t seem real. My depression has nearly ceased! I have a better self-worth, self-esteem, and over all quality of life. So this Christmas while gathered with your wonderful family, know I will be having my BEST Christmas EVER!
